Finding Email Addresses For Your Pre-Call Email Campaigns Using the Pre-Call Campaign built into BuzzBuilder Pro can be a great way to turn a cold call into a warm call and qualify your prospects. Prior to a call to a list of prospects, BuzzBuilder will email them multiple times to attempt to schedule a meeting or a phone call for you. In order to send a Pre-Call Campaign, you will need the email address for each prospect. There are 3 ways you can get email addresses and manage the campaign: Option 1: Purchase a ListPurchase a list of names and emails from a List Service like Lead411 or DemandBase. Then, import this list of leads into your Pre-Call Campaign. BuzzBuilder will begin sending email messages to everyone on the list. Recommendation: Don't import more leads than you can follow up with later in the week. Option 2: Make Phone CallsMake phone calls to gather email addresses. Spend an hour calling each prospect on your list, and ask the receptionist for the email address for key people. Here's an example of a simple script: "Hi Mary, this is John Doe. I wanted to send Bob Williams an email before I call him later this week, but I don't have his email address--can you tell me what it is, please?" Another option for gathering email addresses is to visit the company's website and look for an email address on their "contact us" page. Once you understand their email format, use this to guess the email address for the person you're calling. You can also call a receptionist to confirm the address. For example, "Hi Mary, this is John Doe. I'm trying to email Bob Williams but I don't think I have his email address right. Is it This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ?" If the address is wrong, the receptionist will usually correct you. Option 3: Send the Campaign After Your First CallIf you don't want to take the time to gather email addresses before calling your prospects, then simply make the call without sending a campaign. If your calls go to voice mail, press "0" to go to the operator and then use the scripts in Option 2 to ask for the person's email address. After you hang up the phone, enter the person's name and email into the Pre-Call Campaign (to do so, click on CONTACTS>ADD A CONTACT).
