| How do I DEACTIVATE a prospect to STOP future emails from being sent? |

There may be times when you want to discontinue any future emails to a specific contact. For example, you may find out that they're not the correct person, or they may ask to be removed from future communications. You can easily DEACTIVATE a contact without deleting them from your account. To do this, follow these steps: 1. First you need to find the contact's file. In the SEARCH CONTACTS box on the Dashboard, type in the contact's email address, last name, or company.
2. Once you've located the contact, you'll see a link called DEACTIVATE on the right side of the screen. Click on this link and confirm you would like to deactivate this contact. Once you deactivate a contact, the person's email address will remain in your database but no more emails will be sent. If you accidentally add this contact's email to the campaign again, BuzzBuilder will see that they are deactivated and will stop you from entering the email address again. |
