If you have a spreadsheet of contacts, you can import them into a Campaign and BuzzBuilder will automatically begin sending emails to everyone on the list.

TIP: Before you import a list, look it over to make sure you have good data. Replace any First Names with known nicknames (change William to Bill if you know this is how he likes to be called). Also, shorten the Company Name: ABC Corporation should be shortened to ABC. Also delete other words like "inc", "corp", "systems", "international" and anything else that makes it look like you got their company name off a list.

Before you import an Excel spreadsheet, you'll need to make sure it has a HEADER in the first row at the top of the page. A HEADER is a title for each column, such as First Name, Last Name, Company, Email. Make sure the header is on the first row, and delete any text that appears above it.

Now, you'll need to save the document as a CSV (comma delimited) file. This is a format that BuzzBuilder can read, since Excel is not compatible with other systems. To do this, open your document, click SAVE AS, and then select the format "CSV". Excel will give you a warning message that this will not be compatible with other versions of their software. Simply click OK or YES to any of these warnings.

Once you have your CSV file, here are instructions for importing your list into BuzzBuilder:

1. Click on CONTACTS>IMPORT CONTACTS FROM A FILE

2. Select the Campaign you would like to add the contacts to and then click NEXT

Here is how your settings will generally look:

3. Click on the BROWSE button at the bottom of the page, select your CSV file, then click NEXT

4. You may need to tell BuzzBuilder which fields you want to import from you CSV File. To do this, click on the drip down menu next to each field you wish to import and select the appropriate option. Usually, there will be several fields you won't need to import (like address and lead source). Simply leave any unnecessary fields blank. When you're don, click NEXT.

5.  Click the START button to begin the import. Once the contacts are imported, BuzzBuilder will automatically begin sending emails
